Bethune Middle School is my school! This is the place where I learn to prepare myself for high school and college. The adults at Bethune are here to help me succeed, especially my teachers. I will be respectful towards everyone at my school and I expect to be respected by all.

My school's current API score is 620. We are the highest scoring middle school in Local District 7. We are #1. We will not allow any middle school to beat us, for we are the Best!

This school year our goal is to exceed 650 points on the API. I will help my school achieve this goal by:

- Coming to school every day and arriving to all my classes on time.

- Asking a lot of questions in class and collaborating with my fellow students.

- Studying smartly, paying attention in class and finishing all my homework.

- Trying my best in school every day and asking for help when I need it.

- Mastering the California State Standards in English, Math, Science and History.

- Keeping my school clean and beautiful.

I will be successful! I will not fail! I am a Bethune Mustang and I have Bethune pride!
