Event Info

In partnership with Aztlan Athletics, Students Run LA is proudly hosting the SRLA Arroyo 15K.  The SRLA Arroyo 15K takes place at the Arroyo Seco Natural Park in Altadena, on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 7:30 am. Our 3,500 students will be there with their volunteer teacher/leaders. There will be timing, finisher t-shirts, a medal, water, and snacks provided. The students will be taking on the distance of 9.3 miles completing this unique and relatively flat course.

Students Run LA uses the process of training for the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon to teach our students how to set a goal and work hard to complete it. Over the 7-month training period the students learn how to transfer these skills into their education and their lives. This race (and SRLA in general) is not competitive. SRLA’s motto is “complete NOT compete.” So there will be no overall or age group awards for this race.

SRLA CaresYes, We Can!

SRLA Cares is encouraging all runners to bring one can of food to donate. Items most in need: canned soups, stews & chilies; canned vegetables; canned tomatoes; canned tuna, chicken, and spam. All canned food will be donated to local food banks.

Spectator Info

Spectators are welcome but are limited to viewing near the start and finish area. Much of the course takes place in areas that are only accessible by course management and emergency vehicles.

Run Results

The results will be posted online at Results will not be available at the event. There will be no age group or overall place winners awarded.
