Community Information for Parents

Did you know that the City of Los Angeles has renter protections in place that prevent
landlords from evicting residential tenants for nonpayment of rent due
COVID-19? The protections apply to ALL rental units in the City of Los Angeles, and
when the emergency is over, tenants will have 12 months to repay any late or

City of Los Angeles Angeleno Card
The Angeleno Card online application is only available from April 14 - 16, between the hours of 8:30AM - 4:30PM.

P-EBT (up to $365 per child) to families with students who receive free and reduced meals. Application start date is May 22nd through June 30th. Families already receiving Cal Fresh do not need to apply. They will receive it automatically.
 
The Emergency Rental Assistance Program can provide up to $1,000 towards monthy rent for up to three months. Applications are due by May 31, 2020. Call 2-1-1 or visit 211LA.org to learn more.

We received a communication from the Mayor's Office that we would like to pass on to our network partners regarding the California Disaster Relief Assistance for Immigrants (DRAI) program. Applications will open for individuals in Los Angeles County on Monday, May 18th, 2020. DRAI is not being administered by the City, but rather by three designated non-profit organizations. Please direct the community to contact these organizations on and not before May 18th, 2020 for questions and application assistance:
